[Disclaimer]: I I love tragedy. “The Bitter Suite” is one of my favorite episodes. I love to see Xena and Gabrielle together and I love seeing them hating each other. Sick? Probably lol

Myeaahh. Seeing as how we’ve seen her in either situations of war or Xena trying to destroy Livia’s whole life - I’d be pretty damn sure no one would seem sweet and cuddly. She has never been shown outside that box of warrior ways, thus why it seems that way. Livia was a true Romans, and as such - capable of love and affection, just not to everyone.Next to Alti, I think Livia was one of the most evil characters on the show. Evil Xena was able to reform on her own with a little help from Hercules. Even Hope had some moments where she seemed to genuinely love Gabrielle and was jealous of Xena. But Livia was incapable of any good without Eli’s intervention.
Proof that this anon didn’t like the character at all, but only the idea of the character. Callisto suffered much in her life; loosing her family, seeing them burn to death and hearing their screams - it drove her to insanity. She deserved to be redeemed and be in peace, with her family that was taken from her - she deserved to be an Angel.Callisto was an awesome character, who was the best villain in the entire series. And when they made her an angel, my first reaction was ‘WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY DEMON BABY?!’
Because they were best friends. I didn’t even know they were shipped until I saw a weird forum based only on that and my eyebrows rose to the fucking heavens in wonder and surprise. Although, perhaps Gabrielle was into Xena, seeing as how she got together only with Perdicus… But Xena belongs with Ares. That’s my opinion.
